Dear Readers, no one can see Coronavirus physically except by the appropriate gadgets such as microscopes but we can all see the impacts of this COVID-19. It is “invisible” but having “visible” impacts and realities. We can all see and hear the havocs that are being wrecked daily by this invisible, tiny, negligible, nonentity and microscopic virus, such as sicknesses, diseases, death, social-distancing, closures, lockdowns, isolation and empty streets to mention only few.
Fellow Kingdom Citizens, there is an invisible treasure in you too that is capable of making positive impacts rather than the negative impacts of this deadly virus. You carry God! Yes, I repeat again, you carry God! The day you gave your life to Jesus, you are a new creature (2Cor. 5:17), you became a child of God (John 1:12), the Holy Spirit came to live inside of you as from that day (Gal. 4:6, Eph. 1:13-14). Remember, you are a spirit, you have a soul and you live in a body (1Thes. 5:23). The Holy Spirit came to live inside the real you – in your spirit.
The Holy Spirit who dwells within you is truly invisible, but He is able to perform physical signs, wonders, miracles, healing, deliverance, to set the captives free, to save sinners, to raise the dead, to cast out devils, to do good works, to pray and show love which can be visibly seen, sensed and felt. The problem is, you don’t know who you are! You’ve allowed your soul, that is, your emotion, wrong mindset, perverted and un-renewed thinking, people around you, your situations, the media, your school teachers, your parents and your religious leaders to define who you are rather than getting to know who you are from the “manual” of your Creator – the Bible.
My friend, there’s a “Treasure”, the Holy Spirit in your earthen vessel, that is, in your physical body, your earthly clothing. Let Him loose by walking in the reality of who you are. Stop spending your precious time asking God for what He has already given you. Stop asking God to do what He has resourced you to do. You are fully loaded, you have been fully resourced by God (Eph. 1:3, 2Pet. 1:3).
Therefore, change your realities by changing your perspectives, transform your life, negative situations and of those around you by renewing your mind by His Word (Rom. 12:2). Walk talk in who you are – Son of God (John 1:12, 10:34, 1John 3:1-2), you are Christ’s Ambassadors (2Cor. 5:19), you are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ (Rom. 8:17), as Jesus is now, so are you in this world (1John 4:17b), you are already complete in Him (Col. 2:10), you are God’s righteousness (2Cor. 5:21), you are Kings and Priests of God (Rev. 1:6-7), you are Heavenly beings on earth temporarily (Phil. 3:20), you are seated with Christ in Heavenly places far above the reach of the devil, sickness and diseases (Eph. 2:6), you are more than the conquerors (Rom. 8:37), greater is He that is in you than COVID-19 or its “originator” – the devil that is in the world (1John 4:4) and you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Phil. 4:13).
The conclusion is, the real you is invisible, but can perform positive and visible realities rather than what this invisible virus is doing right now! Know who you are, know what God has done TO YOU, IN YOU and FOR YOU at salvation, due to the finished work of Christ at Calvary, this will in turn give you the knowledge of what He can do THROUGH YOU (Eph. 1:18-19, Eph. 3:20). He is willing to use you to change, influence and to impact your communities for good no matter how “negligible” it may seem to be. Surely, your real you is invisible but able to perform visible and tangible realities. Why? There’s a Treasure in your earthen vessels! Within your physical bodies. Who is that Treasure? – Jesus!!! (Col. 2:3, Col. 1:27). Remain blessed!
