The weekend when he transferred from Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas to Egypt’s Al Masry. He joined on a 2-year deal the Egyptian side confirmed.
The 32-year-old has now played in thirteen different countries across Africa, Europe and Asia. His African exploits have seen him play in his native Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, South Africa and now Egypt.
He has also played in Germany, Turkey, Finland, Belgium, Latvia and Ukraine on his European stints. Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Kazakhstan complete his Asian adventure.
‘Salam Aleykum, our new striker, good luck and welcome to your new family Al Masry SC! Together we are strong,’ the club said in response to a tweet from the player.
He has do far played sixty-seven games for the Stallions of Burkina Faso and has scored 21 goals over the period. He was born in the Ivorian capital, Abidjan. He started his club career with Stade d’Abidjan in 2000.
His first stint outside the continent was with Belgian side, Sporting Lokeren, where he spent three seasons playing 77 games and returning 27 goals between 2003 and 2006.
