A Ghanaian witch doctor has claimed to have put juju on Portugal’s star player Ronaldo, in order to prevent him from facing the Ghanaian team in this month’s world cup.
The renowned ‘traditional priest’, Nana Kwaku Bonsam, claimed responsibility for Ronaldo’s recent knee injury which may stop him from performing in the competition and told Ghana’s Angel FM that he is ‘working on him’.
He added “I am very serious about it. Last week, I went around looking for four dogs and I got them to be used in manufacturing a special spirit called ‘Kahwiri Kapam’.
“I said it four months ago that I will work on Cristiano Ronaldo and rule him out of the World Cup or at least prevent him from playing against Ghana and the best thing I can do is to keep him out though injury.
“This injury can never be cured by any medic, they can never see what is causing the injury because it is spiritual. Today, it is his knee, tomorrow it is thigh, next day it is something else.”
As it stands Ronaldo is unlikely to play against both Mexico and Ireland in World Cup friendlies as a result of tendonitis.
The Black Stars are set to face Portugal in the final Group G match on June 26th.
