Exploring London with Ama and Neri by Pelena Cosme

So as we begin to venture out again for family fun days whilst following government guidelines here are some places to go around London that are spacious and enjoyable for the entire family.

Tricks

1. On Sundays parking is less restrictive in some areas if you wish to drive but beware of ULEZ and Congestion Charge which now operate Monday-Sundays so visit tfl.co.uk for more information.

2. Pack lots snacks so hunger doesn’t spoil the day.

3. Pack extra clothes because the weather can just change at any given moment and most parks have access to water fountains and sand so things can get sticky very quickly!

4. London is so accessible even if you don’t drive, the Tube is fast and can get you where you need to be. Just be mindful of how much you are packing because the children who can be excited to have little backpacks will soon want you to carry it – along with them!

5. People are friendly so don’t be afraid to ask for help especially if you are travelling with children. Londoners have been so kind as to help with buggies on stairs, getting on and off trains and handing back dropped baby items.

Tips

1. Carry cash.

2. Don’t mind what people say – we don’t believe that children should not be seen or heard.

3. Take a camera or use your phone to save fun memories.

4. Carry extra face masks.

5. Parent how you want to and have fun!! Children can loud and fun but most are understanding.
