Terrorism in Nigeria Seminar

This Saturday, the British Nigeria Law Forum and the Hospital & Prison Action Network, will be holding a seminar on how to combat the ongoing Terrorism in Nigeria.

The seminar will explore why so many lives have been lost at hands of terrorist group Boko Horam despite the Terrorism Prevention Act which the National Assembly passed in 2011.

According to the organisers, the seminar aims to question ‘the effectiveness of law enforcement in bringing offenders to justice’ and will also look at how the government ‘can be assisted in protecting its citizens’.

 

Several experts from the both Nigeria and the UK will be speaking on the issues at hand including:
