A female undergraduate student left unconscious after allegedly being gang-raped in a car park in Indonesia, will return to her home in Malaysia today.
Indonesian newsportal detik.com said that the girl, who was allegedly abducted and raped by three men last Saturday, will receive further treatment in Malaysia. The portal confirmed the identity of the student with Padjadjaran University, which had reportedly informed the matter to authorities in Malaysia.
The police had earlier said that the girl had reported the matter stating that three men had raped her. “They took turns. The only one who did not do it was the driver,” Erwin Kurniawan told detik.com. The report also stated that the unnamed student was still in trauma and was initially treated at the Hasan Sadikin Hospital in Bandung.
According to police, the student had gone out to withdraw money from an ATM machine not far from her rented house in the Jatinangor campus. She was approached by an unknown male, who covered her mouth and pulled her into a car.
The police are now awaiting the medical report by doctors at Hasan Sadikin Hospital.
