The Chairman Senate committee on Banking, Finance, Insurance and other financial institutions, Sen. Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim representing Kwara South has commended Nigerians for their knowledge even has he reiterates that if we put our resource bases together Nigeria will be better.
He said this during a committee session with Federal Mortgage Bank, Bank of Agriculture, Bank of Industry and Nigeria Security, Printing and Minting at the senate building on tuesday. Rafiu Ibrahim said “this nation is our future and we have the knowledge to move this country forward. We must move to the realms of forward thinkers and succeed together”. The Senate believes that there are many ways the government finance agencies can to bring more innovation to increase their economic capabilities and bring added value to their various units. The Senate also wants them to collaborate and draw up legislative proposals that will strengthen their capacity to achieve more successes. According to Sen. Ibrahim, “this meeting is set up to understand what has been happening and also see how the Senate can help to make things work for the agencies”.
