Sen. Adeniyi Adegbonmire, Senior Advocate of Nigeria is continuously and genuinely using legislative instruments such as Bills to reverse the socio-economic problems and challenges in his Senatorial District.
The Senator is championing and committed to the good causes that will bring the desired development as well as dividends of good governance to his people in his beloved Ondo Central Senatorial District.
Sen. Adeniyi Adegbonmire, an erudite, illustrious and distinguished son of Akure kingdom, like some of his colleagues who have shown strong and exceptional leadership track records, have been working round the clock to sincerely leave a great legacy to better the lots and fortunes of their people.
He believes that one of the ways to improve the well-being of his Constituents is to be deliberate about using legislative instruments to develop a sustainable and long-lasting template for his District.
Understanding the challenges Nigerians are facing in the healthcare sector drafted a novel Bill to cater for the health care needs of his people. This swift intervention gave birth to the Bill to establish the Federal University of Technology, Akure Teaching Hospital, (Establishment) Bill, 2024 (SB. 460) that scaled first reading and ready to be read the second time in the red chamber, sponsored by Sen. Adeniyi Adegbonmire.
Because he takes cognisance of the needs of his people, also sponsored the Bill to establish the Federal University of Agriculture, Akure, Ondo State (Establishment) Bill 2024 (SB. 436) which will upgrade the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure, Ondo State to a full-fledged University.
He also sponsored a Bill to establish the Federal University of Arts, Culture, Science and Tourism, Igbara Oke, Ondo State.
Sen. Adegbonmire, who has an eye on his legacy, knows that the only way to do things properly for his people, is to continue to press on without relenting. This is why his people have great admiration for him.
He is consistently driven by a serious sense of purpose. His amazing legislative interventions are not only inspiring but also commendable. He is one federal legislator that has his eyes set on the higher goals of leading his Senatorial District to the path of pride, greatness, and progress.
Everything he does reflects the will and aspirations of the greater number of people in his Senatorial District.
While carrying the hopes and expectations of thousands of people in his Senatorial District, he facilitated the inclusion of the dualization of the deplorable Akure-Ondo-Ore highway in the 2024 Appropriations Bill.
In terms of employment generation for the youths, the Senator has so far facilitated employment opportunities for youths in the Senatorial District in federal institutions such as Nigeria Police Force, Nigerian Airforce, Nigerian Army, Federal Fire Service and others.
To quicken development process in his Constituency, he has graded and constructed several roads in his District.
As part of his educational strategic approach, the Senator has been applauded for renovating several primary and secondary schools in the district.
He also paid tuition fees of Law graduates from Ondo Central Senatorial District in Nigerian Law Schools, including payments of primary and secondary school and payment of JAMB/UTME forms for students in the district, in a bid to advance the good causes of brilliant students who want to further excel in their academic endeavours.
The Senator who is also the Chairman, Senate Committee on Agriculture Colleges and Institutions, has massively distributed several bags of fertilisers to smallholder farmers under the umbrella of the Farmers Association of Nigeria Ondo State branch and facilitated the distribution of several bags of rice to greater number of people in the communities that make up the Senatorial District.
Nigeria needs great minds who are futuristic and ready to work for the common good of their people in the image of Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire in the Red Chamber.
