The young lady in the picture is called Selah, a Biblical term taken to mean “take time to think about what you have just heard/read”. It might not, therefore, be a total surprise to learn that Selah is the granddaughter of none other than Jamaican Rasta icon Bob Marley.
The no doubt genetically talented Selah Louise Marley, who turned 16 this month, is the second child of Lauryn Hill with the Tuff Gong’s son Rohan (and therefore niece of Ziggy, Julian, Damian, Ky-Mani, Stephen, Cedella . . . you get the picture). The aspiring young model and singer was out with friends and family, including singer Teyana Taylor, who was enthralled to finally meet her idol and inspiration, Selah’s mother Lauryn.
Taylor posted a picture of herself with the former Fugee to Instagram with the caption:
