By Milton Tella – Tributes have continued to pour in for one of Nigeria’s finest journalists, renowned culture and arts advocate, Jahman Anikulapo, who turned 60 on Monday 16 January 2023.
Jahman Anikulapo’s works has won him young and older friends among Nigerians living at home and abroad.
One of Jahman’s friends in the United Kingdom, Abass Tijani, a London based DJ, broadcaster and media & entertainment consultant in his birthday wishes described Jahman as a bastion of arts and culture, a good friend and brother.
UK based veteran actress, Princess Golda John Abiola said, “Jahman Anikulapo, a colleague in the arts is a very reliable, hardwork, honest and devoted person. He throws his heart into anything he wants to do. Jahman forms the pillar in any group he belongs to. One of the ‘Opomulero’ of the arts industry. I wish him many more decades of fulfilling years in radiant health and prosperity”.
Prince Mike Abiola, Publisher of African Voice Newspapers UK and founder of African Film Awards referred to Jahman as a renowned journalist, whose pen has given great mileage to the careers of many arts and film practitioners beyond the shores of Nigeria.
Senator Ibikunle Amosun, the former Governor of Ogun State, Nigeria also conveyed warm felicitations on Jahman Anikulapo.
Senator Amosun said, “A quick glance at the 60 years of your life reveals a lot about your excellent character and the valuable contributions you have made to our society. I commend you for your professionalism, brilliance and courage in the performance of your duties as a renowned artist, culture advocate, journalist and curator. As the journalist, director, actor, and critic uses his creative talent to keep the spotlight on arts and culture as integral aspects of development, President Buhari believes his zeal and knowledge will continue to be relevant in a dynamic world, where values and virtues will shape the future of leadership.
