Mumin  Abdul-karim, Sudanese medical doctor. Master’s student in Neuroscience and Translational medicine at Queen Mary University of London said, Chevening journey is really one of life’s changing journey l have ever taken in my life. The beginning of the journey was very challenging and very competitive but to be honest it was worth it, being chosen to be a Chevening scholar is a great honour that basically reflects your commitment to your country and people to develop them. My experience in London has been very outstanding, this period has allowed me to grow in terms of personality and given me greater understanding of how the world is diverse. When l go back home l can bring back hope and help the young people achieve in terms of education.
