By Golda John – It was a spectacle as Folasade, Olufolake Obisesan becomes Mrs Olufemi, Adedeji Igun under open heaven, in the presence of a mammoth crowd in attendance on Saturday 29th April 2017 at the Manor Groves – Oriental Garden, High Wych, Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire.

Mr & Mrs Olufemi Igun

Everyone would agree that they witnessed love in its purest form and the most joyous moment in the lives of the couple, Sade and Femi as Pastor Emmanuel Olusegun Medaiyese, the Senior Pastor/District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Surrey Docks District, took them through the solemnisation of marriage and pronounced them man and wife.

A thunderous applause and ululations of congratulations emerged from the audience, who were specially and elegantly dressed for the glorious occasion in the beautiful colours chosen for the wedding.

It was an open air service, in middle of the Oriental Gardens of love surrounded by ministers of God, elderly relatives, old school friends, work colleagues and well wishers from all over the world. Pastor Bankole of The Liberty Church London gave the sermon, emphasising on the five Fs (Forgive, Forget, Forsake, Forge and Focus) for a successful marriage/relationship.

The party continued in the well decorated hall which sat over 500 flamboyantly dressed guests.

The couple were gallantly led into the hall by a very vibrant bridesmaids, led by Tolase Obisesan, the Maid of Honour and groomsmen, led by Folu Fabikun, the Best Man, who danced to music supplied by the life band while forming guards of honour, as the newly wedded took their seat on the palatial throne reserved for them.

Parents of the couple, danced in happily all dressed in the same colour outfits, smiling cheerfully nodding and waving to the celebrity guests who rose from their seats to appreciate them as they headed for the dance floor, ably manned and directed by Fola Sogbesan, who was the Master of Ceremony.

Guests enjoyed the best assorted foods, drinks and good music for as long as the party lasted. It was indeed a day to remember for everyone present.

Happy married life to Mr and Mrs Olufemi Igun
