This May marks the 5th year anniversary of the death of former Mayor of Southwark, Tayo Situ. The family of Tayo Situ were joined by senior staff of the London Borough of Southwark, members of Tayo Situ Foundation and friends to remember and celebrate his life.
A private remembrance service was held on Monday 9 May 2016 at the Camberwell Old Cemetery, Forest Hill Road, London beside his final resting place to commemorate his passing on to glory.
Some of the people in attendance were, his wife Mrs Abike Situ with children, including Cllr. Michael Situ and wife, Cllr. Peter John (OBE) Southwark Council leader, Cllr. Johnson Situ, Cllr. Sunny Lambe, Cllr. Adedamola Aminu, Amos Adejimi, June Douglas, Pastor A. A. Ibrahim with wife, Pastor Jide Siwoku, Evang. Helen Adeleke, Mike Abiola with wife Golda, Shade Situ, Mrs Adadevoh and many well-wishers.
