IA-Foundation opens ticket portal for 4th Charity Ball – 18th March 2023

A UK-based charitable organisation working to reduce the number of out-of-school children in Nigeria, Ibironke Adeagbo’s (IA-Foundation) has commenced planning for the annual event. The portal is open for ticket sales for its 4th Annual Black-Tie Charity Ball 2023. 

The theme of this year’s edition is “Securing the Future: The Imperative of Education For All. The event is scheduled to be held physically in London on Saturday, 18th March 2023 by 4pm. 

The event organizer, IA-Foundation is also a registered non-profit organization in Nigeria and has put 100 children back in school across Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Osun, Kwara, Delta, Nasarawa states and Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.  The Foundation has also distributed over 3,000 learning resources that benefited over 100 households across the country. The event which attracts highly profiled Nigerian corporate organisations and businesses in the United Kingdom and beyond is organized to enlighten Nigerians in the diaspora about the education deficit in Nigeria, while mobilizing resources to combat the menace of 20.2 million out-of-school children in the country.  

The charity dinner also features guest speeches, awards, raffle draw, American auction, fundraising, with music and dance by the Best DJ in the UK, DJ Abass.

All funds generated through this event will be channelled towards provision of bursary to support the education of children who are out of school, with keen interest on the girl child, orphans, physically challenged and underserved children in hard to reach communities. 

Among dignitaries that have confirmed attendance are the Nigerian High Commissioner to the UK, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola OFR; former CBN Governor and 14th Emir of Kano, His Highness Sanusi Lamido Sanusi; the President of the Nigerian British Business Forum (NBBF) Prince Afolabi Andu and Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi of Love of Christ Generation Church.
