The Global African Awards (G.A.A) has announced the final nominees shortlist for their United Kingdom edition ahead of the anticipated awards dinner gala set for London on 26 November at the Leonardo Royal Tower Bridge.
The G.A.A will be recognising and honouring African change makers who have impacted positive change and development across different sectors.
Public voting lines will open on 20th October and close on 13 November. G.A.A Chairman Conrad Mwanza commended African diaspora for their immense work.
“It is always humbling and inspiring to see the impact Africans are making around the world and we are calling for voting on the African diaspora community in the United Kingdom.” He said.
“We are running under the theme Diaspora; Africa’s secret weapon in bid to acknowledge and embrace the power of our international communities on change-making missions.”
The early bird tickets to the high-powered social and business-networking event are going for £90 before the 31st of October and will be going for £120 from the 1st of November.
THE G.A.A is an international organisation that recognises high achievement and positive contributions by Africans around the world. The G.A.A creates a platform for collaboration among global players and emerging enterprises as well as arts, sports and innovation, among other disciplines.
Attended by various leaders from diplomatic, business and social sectors, G.A.A has been hailed as one of the progressive movements in the last decade.
