COVID-19 vaccination conversation with BME Nurses and Midwives will hold on Friday 5th March 2021 at 7.00pm. Registration is via Eventbrite.
BAME nurses and midwives, including those working in the care sector, have been disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Why is there low uptake of the vaccination amongst BAME nurses and midwives? There are many questions to be answered at this informative session.
Readers are invited to have a conversation on this issue by joining distinguished professionals and faith leaders as they explore the topical issues surrounding the pandemic.
The organisers, Nigerian Nurses Charitable Association UK is a non-profit organisation incorporated in January 1998 in the UK. The Association represents approximately 3,000 Nigerian nurses and intends to establish chapters nationwide. Their mission is to provide a forum for collective action by Nigerian nurses to “investigate, define and determine issues affecting its members with a view to implement change to alleviate and improve living and working standards amongst members.”
