Change of British High Commissioner to Nigeria

Mr Paul Arkwright has been appointed British High Commissioner to the Federal Republic of Nigeria in succession to Sir Andrew Pocock KCMG, who will be retiring from the Diplomatic Service. He was the British Ambassador to the Netherlands from 2009-2013. Mr Arkwright will take up his appointment in September. Till date he is responsible for UN, Commonwealth & other International Organisations, Human Rights and Conflict Prevention.
