African Film Awards had consistently played an influential role in attracting investors who are genuinely interested in the growth of the film industry. The echoes of the recently concluded awards ceremony will continue to resonate in sound and vision to a worldwide audience.
Africa Alive presenter Susie Retty spoke with a selection of investors, sponsors, celebrities and film practitioners on the red carpet to gauge their expectations.
While some were simply out to rock the evening with their favourite actors and actresses, others were out to showcase their latest fashion collections.
The star-studded ceremony will remain a night to remember by many in a long time.
