Apparently keen not to be outdone by his little sister, 15-year-old Jaden Smith has posted and subsequently (and suspiciously, suggests my inner cynic) deleted an Instagram showing rumoured girlfriend Kylie Jenner giving him what can be construed to be an erotic massage. Jaden is shirtless in the black and white image, which shows him in a pair of Calvin Klein boxer shorts.
One can only assume that the celebrity progeny of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett have embraced the adage that there is no such thing as bad publicity – a lesson perhaps imparted by their parents, since their antics are taking on the shape of press provocation; a trap I have evidently now fallen into.
One can only speculate that Jaden, envious of the column inches 13-year-old sister Willow grabbed for herself last week by being ‘caught’ in bed with a 20-year-old actor, conspired with (or tricked) Jenner, who, at least, has reached sixteen, to hog some of those Hollywood headlines for himself. Miss Jenner is probably not blameless, since she has never been averse to displaying her own flesh online, as one might expect from a half-sister to the Kardashians.
Readers beware – it is from this pool that your children and grandchildren will hook onto their role models.
The latest pic will not concern Jaden’s mother one bit, since the altogether more alarming snap of daughter Willow merely provoked the response: “Here’s the deal: there was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation. You guys are projecting your trash onto it, and you’re acting like covert paedophiles, and that’s not cool.”
