Legendary R&B superstars Toni Braxton and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds will be performing in South Africa and Zimbabwe between August and September.
Known for their chart-topping radio classics, both singer/songwriters shaped the sound of R&B throughout the 90s both as individual superstars and collaborators.
Eleven time Grammy award winning Babyface has written, produced or performed no less than 130 Top 10 R&B and Pop hits, 43 number 1 R&B hits and 55 Top 10 Pop hits in the US. He has received numerous awards, including Soul Train Music Awards, BMI Awards, NAACP Image Awards and American Music Awards.
He produced hits for the likes of Whitney Houston, Boyz II Men, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Eric Clapton, Mary J. Blige, Michael Jackson, to name a few.
Toni Braxton has earned a total of seven Grammy Awards and sold over 66 million records worldwide in her career. Branching out on her own after starting out with sisters Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar as The Braxtons, Toni has received nine Billboard Music Awards and seven American Music Awards as a solo act and has been inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, among many other achievements.
Braxton and Babyface paired up to share their experiences of love on the 2014 co-written album Love, Marriage and Divorce, which debuted at number 4 on Billboard’s Top 200 and number 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It went on to win a Grammy Award for Best R&B Album.
