The Britain Nigeria Educational Trust (BNET) is delighted to invite you to Art not Aid – Nigerian artists supporting Education on 9th October in London.
The event will be co-hosted with Chuck Gallery, Manchester, and will showcase the dynamic work of contemporary Nigerian artists, including Nelson Okoh, Christopher Ankeli and Bolaji Ogunwo.
Special guests are invited to be part of this first Art for Education in Nigeria charity auction in the UK, which will directly help to fund educational projects in Nigeria.
The auction will take place on Wednesday, 9th October 2019 from 5.30–9 pm at Tarkett-Desso, 23-25 Great Sutton Street, Clerkenwell, London EC1V 0DN.
Drinks and canapés will be served from 6pm. The auction will start at 7pm, with prices ranging from £250 upwards. We are in the process of printing the full catalogue, which will shortly be available on our BNET website. Here we just include one image as a foretaste of the quality of oeuvres for the discerning collector: ‘Land of Beauty’ by Ovie 1st Kings Iruru.
