The city of London will witness a unique celebration of the NHS@70 on Saturday 23rd March 2019 as Nigerians roll out the drums to highlight the outstanding contributions of their compatriots to the great British institution.
All is now set for the celebration as the organising committee members got the seal of approval from the N0.1 Nigerian citizen in the UK, His Excellency, Ambassador George Adesola Oguntade CFR, CON. The Nigeria High Commissioner to the Court of St. James.
A delegation of the Nigerian Healthcare Professionals UK (NHCPUK) paid a courtesy visit to Ambassador Oguntade at the Nigerian High Commission London to update him on the readiness of the team to stage a befitting ceremony.
During the courtesy visit, the highly delighted diplomat was emphatic in his commitment to support the good initiative of the Organising Committee and the important work the healthcare professionals are doing in the UK. He promised to attend the award ceremony with his wife.
The glamorous occasion which will hold on Saturday 23rd March 2019 at the Grange City Hotel, 8 -14 Cooper Row, London EC3N 2BQ. Time: 5.00pm to 1.00am will feature the celebration of 207 shortlisted finalists and the unveiling of 70 Most Outstanding Healthcare Professionals in the NHS.
Some of the Organising Committee members also visited the Grange City Hotel venue for the award ceremony to taste the three course menu and check the hospitality in preparedness for the event.
