Big Sean has revealed that his collaboration with Kanye West and Jay-Z on ‘Clique’ was snatched from his solo LP and used by Kanye on the G.O.O.D. Music compilation.

The track, which features all three rappers including hip-hop mogul Jay-Z, can be heard on G.O.O.D. Music’s first compilation album Cruel Summer, which was released in September. However, G.O.O.D. signee Big Sean reveals that it was actually meant for his Hall of Fame: Memoirs of a Detroit Player album.

When asked by Radio 1Xtra’s DJ Semtex about a rumoured Cruel Winter album, Big Sean confirmed that Kanye and crew have started working on it.

Kanye made sure he got a piece of the Jay-Z collaboration (WENN)

“Yeah, you’re gonna get it. Pause. [Before Christmas?] I don’t know about that. You have to wait and see.. I don’t know. It can’t be Cruel Spring, it’s gotta be in a timely fashion,” Sean told DJ Semtex.

“I know I did something for it, for Cruel Winter and I was like, ‘God d*mn it. I might need to cut this for my album ’cause it was really good. But that’s how ‘Clique’ [was supposed to be].”

“‘Clique’ was supposed to be for my album and it ended up going on Cruel Summer. I was like, ‘God d*mn it,'” Sean continued.

“I’m still on a song with Jay-Z and Kanye but it was originally going to be a single for my next album but we got so many singles that it doesn’t even matter.”
