Beyoncé’s dad has moved on to managing a new girl group called Blushhh Music, who promise to deliver a sound that hip hop and R&B listeners will fall back in love with.

Knowles, whose 2011 split from Beyoncé was fancifully described at the time as “by mutual consent”, has been in and out of media headlines for various reasons since. But now, according to EUR, the 63-year-old is reclaiming his status as the manager of yet another girl group – Blushhh Music.

According to the site, like the most successful iteration of Destiny’s Child, Blushhh Music is a trio composed of three female artists. But Sunni, Tali and Bunnie Ray categorise their sound a little differently to that of the “Survivor” singers.

The group shared a photo on their Instagram page of them seated on top of a vehicle, while their musical muses, Destiny’s Child, are boldly posted on a billboard behind them.

Just as their many hashtags imply, these lady contribute a sound more relatable to that of hip hop than just pure R&B and bring a spirit of “Old School Back,” like the first single off their debut album, Old School Hip Hop Past, Present, and Future.

The group was signed back in 2014 according to the Guardian, but they had to undergo a bit of a makeover before Knowles was pleased with their image.

According to the site, the group members were told to lose weight and reportedly loss 90 lbs collectively. But they still had another 30 lbs to go before the Music World Entertainment mogul felt able to take them mainstream.

Now with a new look, the girls are ready to be seen and heard. It remains to be seen whether music fans’ tastes have moved away from this type of thing, given the fact that even Destiny’s Child now seem a little passé.
