UK Nollywood and Black British Film & TV practitioners are requested to submit their works for the 20th African Film Awards 2016 in the following competitive categories:

Best Drama Comedy:
Best TV Soap:
Best Actor:
Best Actress:
Best Supporting Actress:
Best Supporting Actor:
Best Screenplay :
Best Director:
Best Cinematography:
Rising Star:
Please provide the name of the movie, a short Bio of the nominee in the category, head shot and a DVD copy or online link to the movie.
Producers/Filmmakers are encourage to nominate actors, actresses, directors, script writers, producers, cinematography, best films in English and indigenous languages via email.

20th African Film Awards 2016: Call for Nominations
The African Voice Newspaper UK, the organisers of the most prestigious African film industry awards has commenced activities and preparations for its 20th anniversary of Awards which will feature a star-studded Special Awards Ceremony in London on Saturday, 5th November, 2016.
The annual African Film Awards which promote and honour excellence in film and television among Black British practitioners and Africa’s Film Stars has made official the call for nominations. Any person can nominate actors, actresses, directors, script writers, producers, cinematography, best films in English and indigenous languages via email. Please state names of nominees, title of film and categories to marketing@africanvoiceonline.co.uk before 31st August 2016 for consideration by the jury.
Prince Mike Abiola, founder of the African Film Awards formerly known as Afro Hollywood Awards said, “The 20th Special Awards Ceremony will be honouring recipients in 20 awards categories. Lovers of the fast growing film industry in Africa, Nollywood, UK Nollywood and Black British stars of Film & Television will have the opportunity to celebrate favourite stars at the greatest gathering of stars – Parade of Stars 2016.”
