Greuther Furth have declared defender Baba Abdul Rahman is not for sale despite heightened interest for the Ghana international.

The 18-year-old was one of the star performers for the Cloverleaves in the just ended German top flight.
Furth are desperate to hold onto their best players following their relegation to the Bundesliga II.

The club are already in talks with Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Franfurt for the transfer of their impressive midfielder Edgar Prib.

However, Greuther Furth are unwilling to sell Prib for what they believe is a paltry 2.5m euros fee presented by the interested clubs.

With negotiations still ongoing pointing into a direction of the German player’s departure, Greuther Furth President Helmut Hack insists there will be no more sales especially with respect to Baba Rahman and attacker Nikola Djurdjic.

“Both are very important to us and are not for sale,” Hack has declared.

Baba Rahman is being chased by clubs in Germany and Italy.

Schalke and Hamburg have however been the most talked off clubs interested in signing the Ghanaian.
